These courses introduce foundational concepts in mathematics and walk through them in a step-by-step manner. Very little pre-knowledge is required for these courses and any required concepts are included.

This course is designed to give you an introduction to mathematical modelling, how to create them, and how to understand when they are presented to you. It will provide you with examples on how to create models and some that you can work through on your own. It also has information on how to integrate mathematical models into your classroom.

Walk through financial literacy from the basics of making change to understanding the complex world of inflation, cost of living increases and opportunity costs. This course is matched to the new Ontario Math curriculum and starts from the beginning. We’ll look at the math behind calculating our most common financial questions; including household budgets, credit card debts, financing and mortgages, and more. 

Get introduced to the fundamentals of the four operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) across the major areas of numeracy (whole numbers, decimals, fractions and negative numbers).
